June 24 - July 15
Lloyd Gallery, Front Street, Penticton, BC
The name for our home town, Penticton, comes from a loose translation of the First Nations Sylix language name for here, Snpink'tn (pronounced Sin pink tin), meaning ‘The Always Place’. I am so grateful to be able to live and play and paint on the unceded, traditional territory of the syilx (Okanagan) Peoples. This body of work is an expression of my gratitude for living in this place with so much beauty all around us. All of my paintings for this show (except one) are within less than 50 kms of here, and nearly all of them have a lake in them.
